Gillware Data Recovery is Peace of Mind

I had a friend from high school who went to college at Stanford University.  He was ‘wicked smart.’  Not Good Will Hunting smart, but he was the Veledictorian of my high school class and wrote for one of the local papers.  He was smart.

I used to talk to him regularly via telephone (email didn’t exist yet :) throughout the year.  And early in his college career, he was not smart enough to do one very important thing – save his data while working on a paper.  He’d write an entire term paper and not decide to save it until the end.  And on at least three separate occasions, he stayed up all night writing, only to lose his work because he ‘forgot’ to save it.  Not very smart!

He finally learned his lesson and I think most people now have the habit of saving their work along the way.  Personally, these conversations taught me the importance of saving my data along the way and I’ve been vigilant about it ever since.

Still though, even if you’re saving your data along the way, is it truly safe from loss?  The truth is – not really.  Until you can say that you’ve solved your remote back-up problem (I’ll bet you didn’t even know you had one), your data is not truly safe.

How do I Know This?

At Gillware Data Recovery we have built our business around a serious and often ignored information age truth…hard drives fail every day and the odds are good that it’s only a matter of time before your hard drive fails too.

Fortunately for our customers, our success rate for recovering lost data from failed hard drives is excellent.  We recover most of the drives that are sent to us every day.

So, don’t fear.  If you choose to operate like that old friend of mine and neglect to do your part to keep your data safe it’s OK.  Data recovery is how we make our living.

Remember, however, that no one in this industry has a 100% success rate.  So, if you would like to prevent the unnecessary non-sense and stress that comes with lost data, we have also created a remote back-up system designed to prevent the need for our data recovery services.  Remote back-up is a fraction of the cost of data recovery and all it takes is one small and simple piece of software installed and set-up one time.  Once that’s done, you’re done.

I don’t know about you but when it comes to my data, I want peace of mind.  I would hate to lost any of my data, especially my photos.  Like the one below for example…

Beautiful!
