Are YOU Making YOUR Hard Drive Transfers?

My 1 TB mirrored drive (1 of 2) ready for transport...
I’ve written before many times about the importance of remote data backup. For smaller amounts of data, our remote data backup system is the preferred choice. For all of the video stuff I’m now producing on my MAC, the data load has quickly approached 500 GB. To handle that job, it’s up to me to update these 1 TB mirrored drives every two weeks and then make the switch…
I bring this on to the office and then bring the one from the office home. So, at any given time, I have 2-3 copies of the data in two different locations. The only thing that would still hurt me is a giant tornado that wiped out the whole city :0
For now, this is working very well. I encourage ALL of you out there who have to handle large amounts of data to do the same. That external hard drive sitting next to or on top of your computer is NOT enough! If you don’t believe me, watch this video for a story that tells you why.
